  1. What can I have you do for me?
As long as it is not illegal or immoral, you can inquire about almost anything. For suggestions, see the Services page or the Detour Services blog.

  2. Why should I pay you to do something I can do myself?
Because there are so many other things that only you can do. Let us handle your every day administrative tasks. Then you'll have time to figure out that new marketing message, develop the next customer contact, or finally take a long, overdue vacation.

  3. What does "licensed and respected" mean?
Detour Services is a fully-formed legal entity. The company holds the appropriate licenses and registrations required by federal, state, and local governments to operate as an official business. Unlike other freelance or amateur operators, you are protected with us.

We operate as a vendor for your business. You do not have to worry about employment taxes, workers' compensation, or other headaches.

Detour Services wishes to be a valued partner in your success. Long-term relationships and mutual growth are our goals. The more successful you are, the more successful we are.

Thanks to the varied backgrounds and sectors of our clients, we're able to offer opinions and feedback that may not be easily accessible to the small business runner. Our entrepreneurial experiences become an additional and trusted asset for our clients.

  4. What is your invoicing procedure?
Invoices are mailed or emailed shortly after work is completed. Credit cards and personal checks are both accepted. PayPal processes your online payments conveniently and securely. All payments are due within fourteen days of the date on the invoice.

  5. How do you handle on-location non-supervised assignments?
On-location assignments do not always require your presence. Detour Services is fully prepared to accept and protect entry keys and security codes. We make sure your possessions are in trusted hands.

  6. Who will do my work?
Marie Kung, the company's owner, and Supervising Executive Assistant, will always be your main contact. In order to achieve the best possible results for our clients, Detour does rely on the talents of a few hand-picked consultants, vendors, and contractors. They have all signed Detour's confidentiality and standard of service agreements.

Please feel free to call or email if you have a question that is not answered on this page. The contact information is in the top left corner of this page.
